The front acts were literally electrifying. All the local bands' expected 15 minutes of fame was cut short to 8 when they were allowed only 2 songs to perform after problems with grounded microphones and amplifiers. Cake and Nuts reformed to try their sounds on Asskicker drum sets and Marshalll amps.


The Badfish performed two reggae sets that did nothing to change the crowd's state of catatonia.


The audience were slightly shaken when the Dead Trees tried to wake them up with 2 hard rock pieces.  


Parokya Ni Edgar's Vinci decided to leave the band and relocate to Maria. He now fronts the Grounds. He now goes by the name Dennis Belen.


The crowd immediately switched from dead to frantic when PNE stormed the stage and did their version of Spaghetting Pababa.


Chito keeps on calling Baler as Aurora, Quezon. And Vinci was missing in Action because he has an exam.


This concert was a "the best of performance". They performed only two songs from their latest album, the kundiman-reggae  crossover hit  Mr. Suave and their version of Banal Na Aso, Santong Kabayo titled Chikinini. The title fits in the chorus.

Top 5 Baler concert (in terms of attendance) 1. Aegis
2. Sex Bomb 3. River Maya 4. Parokya ni Edgar and My Generation 1 (tied). If you count the John Arcilla homecoming concert last June 29, he would be in first place. But that was promoted as a siege of baler reenactment and not as a concert.


For a band that compensated their lack of musical skills with riot stage shows when they were starting, the PNE now plays great and Darius now commands great licks.


Dindin Moreno forgot to have a reunion with his relatives in Baler and Casiguran.


Gabs and Buwi can't wait for the concert to finish so that they can ride the Train of Horror at the outside peryahan.
