The Baler LGU booth wrapped their hut in banig forgetting that this is not a sabutan
festival.
The winner for the second time in a row. NFA's booth, an all coconut creation, save for
some capiz windows, was complemented with a backyard fiesta scene complete with harana and
dagtuan acts.
In case you're wondering we're they get all those sumans, the people at the Department of
Agriculture finally came up with a coconut hybrid that sprouts ready to eat suman from its
branches.
And they also came up with suman breeding acacia. Ahh..the wonders of technology, there's
really nothing that they can't do these days.
Doņa Aurora, like the previous years, managed to stand and not move throughout the 3 day
celebration.
The street dancers from San Luis showing off the trades in which their town is famous for
... sabutan and cockfighting.
Ms. Dinalungan's talent act during the Ms. Aurora contest was to weave that giant basket
she now rides in on.
Whoever got the idea to turn Ms. Dingalan into a giant suman sushi must be friggin crazy.
The street dancing contest winners got their grand prize ... another 2 kilometer
performance from Central to Capitol.
Ms. Dipaculao about to enter the Suman Stargate that will promptly transform her
to a 5 feet patupat.
