Baler: A State of Mind Exhibit – Malacañang Museum

Baler: A State of Mind, the visual arts exhibit featuring the Dimalangat Artists Community and the Batang Aurora Camera Club (ehem!) will open its Malacañang Museum leg tomorrow May 28, 2009 @ 2:00 pm. The exhibit started its journey on April 20 -30 at the NCCA Gallery. After the Malacañang stint, the paintings and photographs will return to Intramuros for the Wow Philippines celebration. Be there if you have time.

Some of my photographs are included in the exhibit but I was not invited as well us the other members of the Batang Aurora Camera Club. I guess the coordinators of the event thought we were not the Malacañang type. Oh well…

That reminds me of a docu-film sa Discovery Channel with almost the same title, instead it is ” North Korea: A State of Mind”, that tells a story of a young girl who will participate in the annually stint in North Korea, the Mass Games, nakakabilib at the same time mapapraning ka panoorin heheh.

  3. Never been to Baler although I just live here in Manila. Would like to go there one day. But for now, just going to absorb your observation.

Ay nandyan pa nga Misis ko ay! Basta continue lang yung malasakit mo sa Bayan natin ayus na iyun di baga. Mas maganda yung unrecognized na gumagawa ng mabuti. More power utol.
