Season’s Greetings to all the readers and visitors of Batangbaler. You can send greetings to anyone using the comments link on this post.
I whipped up this MTV of my two kids GJ (3yrs old) and Dylan (1yr old) to serve three purposes: (1) To update their Ninongs and Ninangs about them; (2) to try out my video editing skills; and (3) to test uploading videos to youtube. Consider this a Christmas greetings from the kids, their mom and myself. Happy Holidays. The youtube link is here.
I posted these two videos on Google Video back in January. They were lost during the wordpress migration of this blog. Watch out, BB is brewing something for next year. It has moving things in it.

One of your poems from the Sining Silangan workshop is now in a book. The book is titled TEXT POETS SOCIETY edited by Frank Rivera and published by UST Publishing House this December. Bb. Beverly Siy, the Sining Silangan literary workshop facilitator submitted your work and she wants you to know about the news.
I know Ms. Sindac but i’m too lazy to look for her here in Baler. I just want to let her know about this before christmas. I know her relatives are Batangbaler readers, so please inform her about this. Tell her to contact me (batangbaler at gmail dot com) so that I can give her Ms. Siy’s contact info.
Congratulations Ms. Estrella Sindac! I posted about her works here and here
Ms. Sindac is not the only Balerian whose works were published this month. A short story by Mr. Oscar Alvarez Jr. titled V.A. is included in the book Philippine Speculative Fiction Vol. 2. The book was launched last December 10. More details here, here and here.
